Outdoor pool with acrylic glazing and backdrop construction

For this work of art for a private home, a custom-made acrylic panel had to be imported from Japan. This huge sheet, almost 9 x 4 m in size and approx. 20 cm thick, separates a two-storey-high outdoor pool from the indoor spa area with indoor pool. Behind this pane is an artificially created underwater world with seagrass meadow and rocky landscape. Bespoke underwater spotlights and a special pump system make this artificial world look life-like and alive.
